New chipped card leads to backward banking

Business & Finance

I now have a new chipped card and find it highly irritating that I have to wait for 3-4 (or however long the stores take to deduct) working days before I can view a true transactional list on my internet banking account!!! Are we moving backward here??? Should I keep a book handy and manually keep track of each purchase? This does not make smart sense. I want it back to the good old days where I could log on to the internet quickly and see exactly what happens exactly when it happened. What happens behind the scenes with stores and banks is none of my concern! As long as I have money in my account and can make a purchase I want to be free to do so.By the way, the attitude of the some enquiry staff at N1 branch!!! Already complained a while back to both managers but still the same service there from two ladies in particular. Logging a complaint inside the bank (Tygervalley branch) and being told there is a 3 day tat is highly unacceptable! 3 days???
