I received a Credit Card statement today from Standard Bank stating that I am liable for R200 in Service Fees.
I had NOT applied for the Credit Card, nor am I even in possession of this Credit Card!
Phoning the Call Center, the response received was that nothing could be done and that I need to go into one of their archaic branches!!
So now I have "received" Credit without having applied for it. Charged service fees for this Credit, and the onus is now on ME to sort out this stuff up?!?
