Efusal of account information

I have an account with Std bank from 1999 to date, i have requested to open an Access banking account and have been refused, i was requested to obtain paperwork from the home affairs department which i have but still cannot not get an explanation for the refusal, my concern is also what will happen with my burial as i was told my case is be investigated by the department.
