STANDARD BANK CLOSED MY HOME LOAN APPLICATION

I applied online for a Home Loan application on Monday 13 May. On 14 May, my husband was contacted by Standard Bank and they requested information to gain access to the property we are purchasing. He did not have this information.

The following day 15 May, I contacted Standard Bank and gave the information they requested. On 16 May, I phoned Standard Bank again to find out what was happening, and they told me that the application was closed as they contacted my husband on Tuesday and he did not have the information they required. The fact that I phoned on Wednesday and gave them this information was not even mentioned. I requested the application to be re-opened, but I have now lost time on this.

I phoned Standard Bank again this morning, to find out that its still under assessment. I requested that they please give me a written offer by Monday as I have time contraints on this offer, and was told this will not happen. I'm quiet frustrated, as we could've been a lot further along, but my application was closed.
