I submitted a claim at Std Bank for my roof which got damaged with that big hail storm in 2013. Up until today (22 days later) I was not able to get hold of Std bank. Not by phone or email. I phoned and emailed claims department so many times now. I also went on Facebook and complained there. All I hear from Facebook and your switchboard is we will phone you back. Why exactly do we pay you to insure our houses with you? There is holes in my roof and ceiling... If this was an employee at Std bank their claims would have been processed the very next day. I'm embarrassed to call you my insurer. I really think this is beyond pathetic, and is strongly considering removing my house insurance from you an take it to another insurer. Will definitely tell the whole world about this story. You don't care about your clients at all. Shame on you Std bank.
