Absa called me early Dec, stating that my Credit Card is over limit due to an electronic payment. So my 1st question was, what is the use of a limit then if you are able to exceed it.
So we came to a agreement that I will continue to pay my "Normal" monthly premium untill such a time I have paid off the over limit amount. About a week later, I receive another call from a different agent at Absa, stating that a debit amount of R3493.00 will be deducted from my account. I did not feel this was fair as the previous agent said I can continue paying my normal debit amount, which is ussually round about R500 I lodged a complaint with there offices. I received a phone call on the 23rd of Dec stating it was sent to the relevant Department. On the 31 Dec I have still not received any feedback. I phoned Absa again, and after being transferred from 1 department to the next, I eventually got transferred to the correct Department. A agent then had a look at my query and stated that she sent this to a manager. I was also concerned with the Debit that will run that evening and she said she will cancel this until the query is resolved. The next day I received an SMS showing the amount was deducted.
