Two months ago, discovery insure overdebited my account by about R160. Numerous phone calls later, it's still not sorted. I then wanted to cancel my insurance last month and nobody could help me! I got transferred to 5 different operators and wasted 20 minutes on the phone at my expense. Two days later they called me back and cancelled my policy. But my nightmare wasn't over. On 3 January they debited my account for January despite the fact that my policy was cancelled! They said they would refund me, but I don't believe them, because they haven't even given me my R160 back from 2 months ago! Discovery is a poor excuse for an insurance company, they should stick to medical aid. I have had nothing but shocking service from them.
