I became a client of miway as of the december 2013. Yesturday late afternoon on our way from bella bella our cars tensioner seized and the fan belt snapped. We were verry lucky to be approaching the first and only petrol garage at doornpoort. I then contacted miway to assist to tow the car home and provided them with all the relevant information they requested. After several calls from the agent who was assisting me, with no results I was informed at more or less 2 hours later that my car can only be towed to pretoria as no tow truck is willing to come out and assist me and my family home- us being a ten month old baby an 8 year old girl 7 year old boy, myself and my husband who is the designated driver. At this point I was told that I need 900 rand to get my car from pretoria which I don't have and have no way of getting hold of. I have never felt so fraustrated and miserable and dissipointed in my life!!! This was the emergency we unfortunately got caught up in and we thought having insurance would always be a positive on our side.
