Burst geyser on Saturday afternoon

I phoned PSG on 0860 774 252 Saturday afternoon to report a burst geyser. Gavin answered and could not find my policy. Apparently, as I am not a Top Assist client, the normal PSG claim no gets out through to the assist guys. Normally, this would not be a problem as they should be able to access my schedule. This weekend however, the system that was supposed to give the assist call centre my details, was down. So what now? Gavin said I must phone my broker, on the weekend, as the normal claim office is closed and there was nothing he could do about it. So I phoned the lady who issued me the last schedule, Lolita Holmes, on her mobile. Turns out she left PSG a year ago, but said this is crazy, I should be able to have the geyser repaired. I phoned the call centre again, spoke to Carien. She said she will get her boss, Carla to call me. Carla then asked me to confirm on the phone that I have building insurance which includes the geyser, to which I replied yes, and that was it. Plumber coming in the morning. So why Gavin, why did it take 5 calls?? Why did you make it my problem when your system was down?
