My 2010 Duratherm 200L geyser burst over the weekend and today it was reported to Duratherm after the insurance referred it today only.( Reported it to the insurance on Sat and plumbers did come and confirmed that the geyser actually burst, but because of the warranty they are not allowed to work on the geyser). Now it is 16:30 in the afternoon and 5 phone calls later and still NO plumber from the manufacturer (WE Geyser) has contacted me. From 11am Duratherm call centre has told me the case needs to be assigned to a plumber... after 2 promises that Bradley, the supervisor, would phone me back, which he did NOT do, I phoned again and finally got hold of Bradley. He then told me that W.E Geyser was informed at 12:30. How long does it take a person receiving a call to actually make a call to a plumber and then arrange an appointment? AND THIS IS THE WARRANTY SERVICE... This should have been a easy exchange of faulty product, which have now turned into a NO response from the company and a frustrated consumer! I do not advise anybody to ever install a Duratherm geyser!
