I logged a claim with ABSA Insurance on the 10th of December 2013 for severe hail damage to one of my properties. On the 13th I received the following sms: "Mfrt Trading and Projects 7 cc will be in contact with you for Claim no: 2501888. Their tel no is 079 193 6352" NO ONE contacted me. When I called them on the 20th on the cell number the person said he would call me back which he never did. I called again later that day and was told to call their office on 011 433 0208 which I did. I was promised someone from their office would go and assess the damage this morning at 10h00. My tenant informed me at 10h30 no one has arrived. When I called the office they called my tenant stating no one was sent to the premises but will be sent now. It is now 11h35 and no one is there?? I have been paying my insurance for more than 10 years and this is the service I receive?? I have now been on the phone (with call centres) for over an hour. Every time an actual person answers the phone I get given another call centre number to dial. The roof could collapse at any given time and my tenants or their little boy could be badly hurt. This is absolutely ridiculous.
