As dated Monday 09th December 2013, I received a delayed sms form your company indicating that I have until 18.00pm to decline an early debit change for the 13th December rather than my normal debit date of the 27th of each month.

How is that with the strict enforcement of the Consumer Protection Act, your company firstly deems it fit to assume that the entire South African Workforce will receive their normal monthly salaries before the 13th? That a debit date can just be altered on the spot? And most important and significantly you just assume that sending out bulk short message notifications to all your current clientele advising on a crucial change is an effective method of communication?

Not knowing my day to day circumstances you company just assumed that I would receive the sms. As I was in back to back meetings for the whole day in an area with no network coverage I only received the sms advising that " We will be collecting debits early this month on the 13th, Reply Yes to keep the existing debit date if you get paid after the 20th"... When I switched on my phone at 18.10pm. Automatically when I replied to keep the debit for after the 20th I receiv
