I had on my internet banking on the 26th September 2013.
I lodged a complaint which took about 2 weeks for them to sort out, only to be told I would not get refunded the R2000 that was taken out of my account.
I thought perhaps it was card as there were 2 amounts of R1000 each taken out, which is my daily limit to withdraw.
I was told there would be no refund as my OTP's were being sent to my e-mail and not an sms, and that my e-mail account had been hacked, hence the ability to retain my password for the transaction. However, all my beneficiary payments DO NOT require a OTP.
I was not happy with the result, and was told I'd be sent a form which I could send through to the Ombadsman.
Well, I have waited 2 weeks for this letter. I have spoken to the department 3 times to receive this letter and still nothing.
I am very tempted to close my account as I am highly irritated and angry with the situation.
I am going away tomorrow and I will now have to deal with this in the new year.
NOT HAPPY!!!
