I received a SMS from Nedbank inquiring if I would like to re look at my personal loan. I decided to make an application to renew the loan to the original value. The loan was approved for the original value. On approval I was informed of my new installment. The new installment was approximately R 1300.00 higher that my original loan installment. The loan amount was the same, payment term the same yet an additional R 1300 per month on interest. Is this Nedbanks idea of customer retention. Charge the customer more for been loyal and giving repeat business.
