I made an application to increase my readvance in order to reduce the shortfall on 9 December 2013. The consultant who assisted me give me an assurance that it will be attended to and it will take 3-5 working days. Today 17 December 2013 I made a follow-up via the call centre, and another consultant who is reading from an account remarks note tells me that I have to make another application and that my quiry was closed. She cannot explain what are the reasons that my application was closed.

To add insult to the injury, on the same day (17 Dec 2013) I phone the customer complain centre and the consultant does not want to logg my complain. Instead she want to talk to the branch consultant so that I can be referred to another person. This is really getting out of line. I been banking with Std Bank since January 2001 and the service is getting worse and worse.
