I applied for a credit card on two occasions at standard bank and have been let down twice!

The first occasion I sat down with a consultant and completed tedious forms (Mid December 2012). The consultant advised a sales rep would contact me within 7days to complete the registration. This did not happen.

On the 23rd Feb 2013 I went to the Kuilsriver branch and decided to reapply. I sat with consultant who completed the registration and advised I was approved and that I would receive my card within 7days.

When I went to collect my credit card (second application completed) on Sat 16th March (At the Kuilsriver Branch), I was told that the application was not sent by the person who assisted me. I emailed the customer care centre and attached the document completed by the consultant and emailed through to them for their perusal and then received an automated response advising I will receive a call from a consultant. It's been more than a day and no response has been received telephonically or via email.
