My Brother have various accounts with STANDARD BANK and he passed away on 25/10/2013. We went to bank to stop all accounts and process claim forms to cover his debt.
On 13/12/2013 we receive a SMS from the bank stating that an amount of R XXXX.XX is deposited onto his account, so here we go, off the branch to enquire about this deposit only to be first of all treated like we are trash and then to be addressed by a very un-helpful and blatantly rude young man with still no answer and stuck in the middle of nowhere!!! Heavens forbid that I ever need to do any business with STANDARD BANK as I really think they are very un-helpful and blatantly RUDE!!
