Hi, i lodged a claim for my Jeep in October after I had a minor bumper bashing. The claims advisor was prompt at taking registering my claim and things seemed to be going quite smoothly, I took my Jeep to the accessor who inspected the outer damage of the Jeep, in all this time no warning lights were on the dashboard. The accessor then turned the ignition to on to check mileage and opened the bonnet to inspect the engine, (this was a quick look and that was it), i drove the veh home and the next day started noticing the overflow for the radiator was overflowing so asked the panel beater to pick up the Jeep.

After the panel beater did a proper assessment it transpires that the Jeep has a blown head gasket. I then get correspondence from from the accessor and sales team manager that the blown head gasket wasnt from the accident. HOW would they even deduce that... The accessor never did a pressure test just a quick glance at the engine and secondly why was the overflow not boiling over before the accident.

I have left numerous messages for consultants and manager to call or email me and have ZERO response.

Ombudsman will be my port of call next week if i have no response.
