First National Bank
Not willing to give consent to rescind a judgement

Business & Finance

I had a credit card and loan account with FNB, due to unforeseen circumstances and I feel into financial difficulties which resulted in both the accounts being handed over to debt collectors. I made an arrangement with them which I kept on my side but they went ahead and put a judgement on my name on the loan account. This was done in 2009 and I paid up the account and even received a paid up confirmation letter. I was told in order to rescind the judgement I would have to do so via lawyers. Which I did and they have been trying to get consent from EDC department at FNB so they could apply to the courts to remove this off my name and they have not been successful - three months later. The EDC department also claim they work with emails only and cannot be contacted. My lawyers has been dealing with someone by the name of Tracy and I must say she has not been fourth coming. I need to buy property and I cannot do so unless this is remove this off my name and currently it's costing me money and time I don't necessarily have. All we need is for the EDC / FNB to give consent so the application to the courts can be accepted. PLEASE HELP!!
