GIVEN A JUDGEMENT WITHOUT MY CONSENT

In 2008 i took out a personal loan with credit u, i then lost my job and was behind with about 4 months or so. After 6 months i then got a job and i phoned credit you to ask for a balance so i could pay off the debt. The account was paid off and i even received a letter from their legal guy that the account was paid up. After few months i did an application for a vehicle finance, to my surprise credit u had given me a judgement. In that few months that my account was in arrears for, i never received a call to make arrangements about paying the account. I have been going to branches requesting that the letter i have to be stamped so i can the letter to court so the judgement can be removed. When i go, i always get told that the account is not settled and the numbers that they give me to call they are always engaged. I am aboud to send this case to the Ombudsman as really this is not on. I am struggling because of this. No letter was given to me informing me that my account will be taken to the court or anything of that matter.
