Terrible service and no delivery

I have received consistently shocking service from this branch (and ABSA in general) over the past couple of years. The latest issue is with an application I made for a secondary credit card on 30 November. I sat with the Sales Consultant while she completed the application, and she assured me everything had been done correctly and the application would be processed within 48 hours. After 5 days I had heard nothing, so I called to enquire, and was told they needed to check with the Credit Card division and would call me back later that day. After 2 days of waiting, I called again, and was told they were "short-staffed and busy" so they had seen fit not to call me as promised. After then promising to call me back within 30 minutes, they called about 3 hours later and told me there was a problem with the way the application had been completed, and the Sales Consultant (who was now on leave) would need to return on Monday day to re-do the application. They promised to call me on Monday to give me an update, but it's now close of business on Tuesday and I have yet to hear anything. I have now waited over 10 days (and counting) for an application that was supposed to take 2 days.
