I have been an ABSA customer for the past 35 years. I visited the Centurion branch on Saturday to apply for a second bond a s i need to do some building alterations. I wated in the queue for 1 hours and sat with the consultant for 5 minutes, as she was going on holiday. I was told i will receive a mail my the details required and Ina Raath will contact me on Monday. I then called Ina on Monday morning was told she was busy, she will call back.

I wated for 3 hours without a call. I decided to call back, still with no response from the swithcboard or Ina, i was on the call for 8 minutes and 3 secounds, was then transfereed to a mananger, who still could not assist me.

I will be moving today to a new bank and just wanted to vent my fustration and let other ABSA clients of the poor sevices excelence i received.
