SECOND HAND PARTS? is this what premiums are for?

I was in an accident on the 29/11/13. car was taken to SMD in Stikland on the 2nd Dec where myself and father was contacted around the details of the accident. With him being the main member of the insurance and myself noted as the second driver. Expectations was set and we were told we should know more by Thursday. There was issues around the latter with the sarcastic claims agent we delt with, non the less, we finally received the assesors document showing damages and prices only to find that its second hand parts that they are wanting to fit! My father then contacted the parts deale/panel beater who's details was on the document. This individual, when asked why 2nd hand parts are being used, remained quiet and then said he will re-confirm to order new parts. We also showed interest in using a different panel beater for the vehicle to be repaired, yet the vehicle was moved without our consent to Retreat? So to the insuarance- putrid customer service within your call center, wanting to fit SECOND HAND PARTS and no transparancey with customers? what makes it so much more frustrating, approaching the festive season, we sit with a vehicle short! really the worst service ever...
