Sudden Change in Policy

I manage a hospitality sector business, and we have always relied on our Game branch to supply electronic equipment. Today I sent a staff member with a Company cheque in hand as was the norm in the past. Our nearest Game in Ladysmith is over an hours drive. I was then later notified by my staff member that Game does not accept cheques anymore. We have always paid by company cheques as we do with other MassMart stores like Makro. I spoke to the manager who was very unhelpful. It is the last time Game SA will receive our business. Surely the store could have notified us prior as we must only be a handful of businesses that normally pay with cheques?!
