Unwilling to listen never mind help

My current account is in a bit of a state. I have a overdraft and it is a bit over its limit. I was send two messages to pay in money that I don't have. I then went to my local branch to see if I can perhaps get a temporary increase on my overdraft or come to some other arrangement regarding my account. As soon as I mentioned overdraft I was told I need a payslip. I then said I need a temporary increase until next week Friday. The lady then said that they don't have temporary increases and that she cant help me. I left. I can understand that I need a payslip to increase an overdraft, but their unwillingness to even listen to my problem is unacceptable. I have been with this bank all my adult life. My account is normally in good standing. I was expecting to get a solution to my problem not get the door slammed in my face.
