Refund ignored on debits after contracts expires

My contract with Assetfin expired 31st August, 2013 and yet they still debited me September and October until I queried this and had to do a stop payment at my financial institution.
Several e-mails and no joy. I was tricked into this contract by Canon and after several visits from their staff to try and sort my dissatisfaction with them by trying to get me to sign another agreement, which I did not accept. They gave written consent to keep the equipment once the contract has expired and I still have issues with this "Cannon" contract. I was promised a free fax machine which I discovered I was paying for after the first debit went off at my bank and I was also promised the equipment would be mine after the expiry of the contract. Canon should take full responsibility for the staff they employ and sort the problem between them and Assetfin of the equipment which Canon has given permission to us to keep and not make this my problem. I want my money back as they are from me!!!
