Time for my lawyers to get involved

5 years ago i signed a contract for my company with smart office and canon for a Fax/Printer.after calling canon from aug 2012 to get this contract cancelled and finding out what the procedure is, i sent in all paperwork well before the the allocated time. canon has cancelled my contract and will pick up the printer next month. however, last night i rec a statement from Smart office telling me i owe them R1740 for the service agreement for this month. after speaking to a rude lady at the accs dept, i was told i signed a 6 year contract with them. now, how does this make sense? i signed a 5 year contract for the machine which will be picked up next month, but i will be paying a service charge for an extra year without having the machine because thats what i signed for and thats what the contracts stipulates. i am so angry and so frustrated with this whole "contract" issue with canon and smart office that i will now be taking this up with my lawyers and will be suing the parties involved in this mess.
