First National Bank
FNB failed to protect my accounts and money

Business & Finance

Someone broke into my car and my wallet. After several attempts that person managed to withdraw a R1 000.00 (still wondering where he got the pin code from). Although a bit delayed, I got several sms notifying me of the withdrawal attempts from my bank accounts. Shortly, i received a call from FNB department as they suspected a transaction. I instructed the department, "to block all my cards" the Ref no 169617, they further advised me to go to the nearest branch for confirmation. I went to Thohoyandou branch as i was in that vicinity, when i got to that branch Mr Mufamadi said hes unable to assist me as there is no electricity, i should rather go to ANOTHER nearest branch which is Mutsindo Branch for assistance. I rushed to Mutsindo, which is about a kilo meter away, before i reached MUTSINDO, another purchase of R3 176.00 was made at Game stores from another account. Two things 1.Thohoyandou branch should have assisted me, there should be some sort of contingency plan 2. The department only stopped one account and not the others as i requested. The second transaction could have been avoided Please help that i get my money back as FNB was at fault.
