I recevied an sms From Standard bank with regards to my loan account I called the number which was provided on the Sms 0860548523 and selected option 3. An Extremely rude agent answered the fone, and immediately asked for my ID number, I provided it to her, I explained to her the reason for my call was because Im concerned by the sms because Ive paid the amount already and have made futher arrangements for the balance, she was extremely rude by telling me "Go to the branch and they will explain to you there because you havent paid what was required", I told her over 3 times that Ive paid that amount because im looking at the statement, She then said "Mam I cant explain the same thing to me over and over again" this shocked me completely, I asked her to transfer me to somebody else and she said "yes please" then she dropped the fone,
Im extremely upset and dissappointed at how the quality of the staff is, I worked in a call centre and Know the importance of good customer service.
I can not wait to finish my loan with Standardbank so that I can close my bank account.
Apparently when I called back they could not trace who I spoke to. I want somebody to call me ASAP!!!
