FINISHED PAYING OFF LOAN - CAN'T CLOSE ACCOUNT?

After phoning in on Thursday 27 June to get the outstanding balance on my personal loan so that I could pay it off, I immediately paid the amount that was told by Standard Bank. I sent a secure message to instruct them to check that the outstanding amount is R0 and close the account. After receiving no feedback (As usual) I phoned in on Friday the 28 June to check if it had been done. I spoke to Aarifah and she said there is now interest on the account, so Standard Bank now owe me an excess of R800. She gave me a reference number and told me it would be paid within 5 working days. Today, Saturday 6 July, it still has not been paid. I phoned Standard Bank again. They informed me that no one has done it yet? And I must phone in again on Monday and start the whole process again. It will then take another 5 days.

This is really unacceptable! I want Standard Bank to just pay the amount owed to me and close the loan account.
