I feel like I'm always complaining about Standard Bank. I changed from using the Post Office, to using Post Net, and therefore need to change my postal address on all my accounts. The only company I'm struggling with is Standard Bank. The credit card division took 15 minutes to figure out it wasn't that hard to change my postal address. The home loan division says I need to give proof of residence to change my postal address. I don't live in the post net box, only my post does. Why have a call centre when they can't do the most basic of functions and change my postal address? I also asked about receiving my statements via email, to save the environment, and surprise surprise, i need to go into the branch to do that. Standard banks way of working is in no way client centric and makes one hate working with the bank. It's really time to move all my accounts to FNB. They understand client centric behaviour.
