I had a water leak in my bathroom for which i opened a claim with Nedbank beginning of November 2012. i arranged my own plumber to fix the pipe since it was a weekend. I also told them that the adjacent rooms carpet and cupboard also has water damage. After sending the invoices of the plumber to them, they just closed the claim with no correspondance to me. After sending a mail with no response i had to phone them to find out what is going on. They then re-opened the claim because the tiles in the bathroom was not fixed. They then opened a claim for the carpet and cupboard, appointed people. The carpet company came out to the damage. I then once again had to phone them to find out whether they got any response back from Nedbank. The reply was no. I also phoned the cupboard company who told me they were not able to do the assesment and did tell Nedbank. Once again i had to phone Nedbank to find out what was happening. Only then they appointed someone else who came out a few days after. Up till now the tiles in the bathroom is not fixed, no one contacted me regarding the carpet or cupboard that need to be fixed! It has been 3 months now
