How can Service be this bad???

I didn't think OM service could be worse than the service I received taking out the policy & trying to gain basic access to my account - however, it gets worse. I have been frustrated to the point where I no longer want anything to do with OM and want to cancel the policy. I have spent LITERALLY A MONTH trying to do this. Initially it was my fault because the documentation was incomplete. The corrected documents were sent in within a week of my being notified of this. I have been sent from pillar to post since then. According to the OM client services they never received any documents until miraculously they materialized out of no where despite my not having re-sent them. I was initially relieved that the process could be completed but it seems my relief was premature. Each time I phone client services to follow up on the status - I am told a different story. It has reached a point where I received confirmation in writing that my payment is authorized and has gone for pricing - only to phone again & be told, no - that is only happening today (days after email confirmation). Enough is enough!! The best decision i ever made was to cancel this contract. Old mutual is beyond the pits!
