I TOOK OUT A RETIREMENT ANNUITY OVER THE PHONE SOMETIME IN MARCH. SOMEONE FROM YOUR CAPE TOWN OFFICE CALLED ME TO SELL THIS TO ME. TO DATE I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY POLICY DOCUMENTATION AND MONEY HAS BEEN DEDUCTED FROM MY ACCOUNT.
I CALLED TODAY TO YOUR GROUP SCHEMES CALL CENTRE AND SPOKE TO A VERY RUDE LADY. I WAS PHONING TO REQUEST TO CANCEL THE POLICY. AFTER SPENDING TIME CONFIRMING MY DETAILS, SHE ADVISED ME THAT I AM UNABLE TO CANCEL OVER THE PHONE. THIS IS VERY ODD AS THE POLICY WAS SOLD TO ME OVER THE PHONE.
I HAVE INSTRUCTED MY BANK TO CANCEL ANY FUTURE DEBIT ORDERS FOR THIS POLICY. I WILL NEVER AGAIN TAKE ANYTHING FROM OLD MUTUAL. I WILL RATHER USE OTHER COMPANIES. YOUR SERVICE IS TERRIBLE AND UNACCEPTABLE.
