No feedback regarding a settlement

I called Finchoice yesterday asking a settlement amount on one of my loans.
I am aware that my account is under debt review.
Alison said she would log a query with the back office and they would call me back yesterday around 2pm.
Its the next day and still haven't heard anything, when i call finchoice no one has an update for me.

How hard can it be to get a settlement amount?
Shouldn't they be happy that i'm trying to settle my loans?
