I am very disappointed about the manner in which my claim has been handled thus far.
It is sad to see and experience the lack of enthusiasm you show towards your customers.
I had a leakage in my kitchen cupboard two weeks ago (13.11.2013), I was informed that the plumber would come and do the repairs if the repair work exceed R2000 .I would have to pay the excess fee of R550 it did not and the plumber charged me R450 to do the repair work.
He subsequently would submit a report with regards to the damages incurred, which he failed to do until I enquired again as to what is happening to my claim. The assistant that answered my call (20.11.2013 13h58) then called him and he said that there was water damage to my property. To which the call assistant responded to tell me that I must find a builder as Standard bank do not have a builder in Kuils River, Cape town. I don't see why it is my responsibility to get a builder to come and the damage if I am the one paying the insurance every month.
Can you please send a builder from anywhere in Cape Town to assess and repair the damage that we incurred and repair the cupboards that was damaged due to the pipe that burst.
