Card being declined despite credit being available

I'm no longer angry - I'm beyond angry!

I transfered additional funds from my personal to credit card account just to be sure that there would be ample credit for one particularly urgent transaction (stock purchase with a time deadline to get 20% discount).

Total of the transaction is R4130.72 and the credit available showing on my online statement shows that this can be covered easily even including the fees.

So tell me WHY this is constantly being declined??? I look like an absolute to one of my long-standing suppliers and I run the risk of missing the discount deadline due to the banks incompetance!

Last week an from your helpdesk phoned my husband about his account and got everything wrong, did not send the promised emails, etc and now this on my account (which by the way are two totally separate accounts and are not linked at all!).

I have had endless hassles with Nedbank over the past 3 or so years and have already threatened to take my business elsewhere. Has it now come to the point that I must actually change banks due to Nedbanks' constant mistakes?

This better be sorted out within the next 24 hours or heads are going to roll!
