Rip Off on credit card statement/ pathetic reply

Received my January invoice with a dt of R220 late payment fee dated 18 January 2013. Salary was paid earlier in December and therefore made the monthly installment on 22 December in stead of 16Jan which was the due date on the invoice.. All previous months installment are well in advance of the due dates
Nov acct x amount due 16 Nov, installment paid 3 Nov. Dec amount was due by 18 Dec and was paid on 3 December. Dec installment due by 16 Jan installment paid on 22 Dec. Nearly 3 weeks prior to being due. Now the late payment fee dt. Queried the amount per email, response received it was paid late. Made summary of payments and due dates and asked for it to be escalated to the Manager. Response received was that the Manager had informed her to send the last 4 invoices and that the late payment fee is correct. I have all the invoices and even summarized the specific balances with due dates and payment dates. How can a bank employ, employees who are unable to reconcile or respond properly to a written complaint without a thourough investigation. Pathetic
