I had an accident on the 22nd October, reported on the 24th October to Refilwe. Took them 2 weeks to do "checks" on my insurance history (surely this was done when i was signing up). I get called on 5th november by Refilwe and told my claim was approved cos i checked out and i would be contacted within 48 hours. I wait 120 hours (5 days) and still no call. I call insurance, usual run around can i help you blah blah blah get cut off a few times and then get patched though to repairs after repeating my story 3 times. Peter at repairs say he only works with a panel beater that isnt the one assigned to me but he can give me the number and I must phone. Really? after being told i would be contacted. We get cut off - again - i call - yell and refuse to repeat myself again to Phindile - Peter takes over and lets me know that Refilwe never sent the authorisation form on the 5th and he would send it. and it would take 8 minutes. If i hadnt called in to check, that form would be just waiting for nothing. this is poor and terrible service and i wish i could ensure my debit orders werent authorised every month - just like my authorisation form. I wish i could cancel this insurance ASAP
