BEWARE of OLD MUTUAL RIPP OFFS

I called Old Mutual last week to cancel the retirement annutiies with as I need the money for an emergency with SARS. The consulant sent me all the application form and all the documents required to process the claim. After I sent everything through I called to check if everything was in order the consultant says that they not going to pay me out. I asked to speak to the manager, La-eeq November comes on the line and says that I wont receive my money because both the policies add upto more than R7000. I still asked to speak to someone higher than him and he refused to put me through saying that they will give me the same story. In actual fact I was never made aware that I cannot cancel the retirement if the value is over R7000 and both policies separately are below R7000. Why must I wait till I'm 55 to get paid out? It's really scary the way Old Mutual operates and I will never recommend anyone to invest with them again because of this experience. Do no waste your hard earned money with these ripp offs!!!
