Computershare why?

I decided this year that I was tired of high bank charges, fees etc and now have a combined banking account with my husband. After trying numerous times during the course of the year to amend my banking details with Computershare, I have been advised that they cannot accept this as the account is only in my husband's name even though I am a signatory and have a bank letter to confirm these facts. I am now due for my dividend payment and Computershare will not accept the letter etc and my request to pay the monies into the account which I have specified. To have a bank account to solely accommodate one or two payments from Computershare (with bank charges more than the dividend payment) is ludicrous. Why can I not have the money paid into the requested account (with a bank letter and letter of request from me)??? Fed up!
