We are extremely dissatisfied with the service received from Std Bank Insurance after the of copper water pipes from our home on the 03/10/2013. Today is 35 days since the incidence & I am sitting with multiple leaks on my property due to negligent inadequate plumbing repairs. Std Bank does not bother to follow up on my complaint and claim enquiry; they have obtained a report from an alternative Plumbing Contractor who evaluated the work executed by B & S Plumbers and I have grown tired of spending money calling Std Bank to hold for 15 minutes on end with no solution because the Insurer has not even bothered to check the evaluation report which was sent to the a week ago already. I have already taken 5 days leave from work in order to supervise the plumbers they have been sending to my property; I have a job to keep!! The lack of professionalism displayed by Std Bank is unacceptable & immensely inconsiderate, insurance is supposed to assist one to remedy problems rather than being a catalyst for a string of endless issues.
