Account Still Opened

Some time in the first week of December 2012, I closed my Cheque account at the Olympus Plaza branch. Yesterday the 29/01/13 I received a letter stating that the account is overdrawn by R162.95. The last I used this account was at the end of November & thereafter I changed banks. I went into the branch & closed this account myself & the lady helping me at the time said IT WAS CLOSED. What the is going on now that this account is still opened?
