Internally manipulation of policy cancella

Driving an old car & buying a new car without knowing my insurance has been cancelled. Insurance was informed that since i'm buying a new car on the 1st of october, old car car must be removed. evrything was done accordingly, new car was insured since confirmation was sent to a garage. new car was involved in an accident on the 5th of october & when logging a claim. Only to findou that i have been driving both car without an insurance due to the manipulation of cancellation dates. Then accusations starts that i refuse to install a tracker on the new car, that is why it was cancelled. when checking date sof cancellations, old car was cancelled on the1st of september with a reason that my account was not uptodate hence month of october double debit came through my account & I was not informed that its cancelled. new car was cancelled on the 1st of october due to the reasons that i refuse to install a tracker. 1st of october its the first day i bougth a car... how could this possible???
