I cancelled my policy with Discovery Health in July 2013, telephonically. The person I dealt with said everything was fine and that they'd already received notification of the cancellation from my employer. My last payment was taken from my paycheck at the end of August providing more than 30 days notice as I was told. I have since left the country. However, I am still receiving bills at my previous address saying that I owe a cancellation fee. I have since emailed Discovery Health twice querying this account with no response. They have said that they have listed me as a bad payer. I have not received any communication from Discovery via email which was previously their only method of communication with me. I find this extremely unprofessional and having not been given proper notice considering that I am out of the country, I believe that listing me as a bad payer was uncalled for. When will I receive feedback from Discovery, if ever?
