This was a copy of my email to Merchant Services on 24 July. 'I make reference to a phone call with Helen today, 24 July 2013 at 12h00 for Dial-a-Surprize Merchant Code 577717 ref for call = 411 1110 and wish to formally request cancellation of our Speed Point machine at my shop Dial-a-Surprize. The reason for cancelling is that I have been trying through the call centre to obtain a better rate than 5 % and 4 % for over a year now. My licensee in Johannesburg was immediately granted 3.75%. Emails, phone calls and letters were simply ignored and I am now giving up! Standard Bank came to see me and gave me rates of 2, 75 % and 1.95% for debit cards and immediately my account was opened and my speed point machine delivered. After 30 years of dealing with FNB I have to say that their service levels have decreased to beyond recognition and I am utterly disappointed at how easily they are prepared to lose clients they have had for a lifetime. I am no longer fighting for attention! '. Since JULY I have been requesting cancellation. YET AGAIN this month R399 is taken from my account for Merchant Services!!! You are actually from me now!!! WHO on earth does one speak to?
