Firstly when I tried to register for MyFinancialLife from Nedbank I experienced technical issues on 3 occasions. They then sent me an email to request that I try again. After another 2 attempts I then managed to register and when using the application was requested to input my username and password for each financial institution from which they require details - get real, who in their right mind is going to do this!

When trying to de-register, there didn't appear to be an option on the website so I called the Call Centre and was required to explain several times to the operator that I wanted my id removed. He seemed confused and was not aware of the option and is now going to get back to me.

1. It appears that Nedbank prematurely launched this application while it has a host of technical problems.
2. With all the issues and the possible security breach, how can Nedbank expect to launch an application that requires you to provide all your usernames and passwords from your investments and banking?
3. How does Nedbank launch an application that does not have an option to de-register?

Believe that Nedbank missed the mark on this application and need to do some real homework
