Seems that Hello Peter is the only way to get some attention from FNB.
On the 1st of October I noticed that my FNB account has been charged extra R11.50 for some "value added fees"; the next day 2nd of October I phoned FNB enquiries and had a chat to Ms. Genevieve Mdima (09:57am ref. Rd13100213139). She explained that charge of R11.50 is for posted bank statement. I was a bit confused as I never asked or requested in past 2 years for my monthly bank statements to arrive via post. She then escalated my query to FNB admin department and said they will resolve it.
No one phoned me, so I called FNB enquires again on Friday 5th of October and this time I had a chat to gentlemen which name I can't remember; he told me someone from admin department will phone me soon. Week after that I received a call from some lady at FNB N1 City branch and she asked me if someone already helped me;I said no and she said she will check it out and come back to me. Obviously nothing again happened so I patiently waited and waited and decided to lodge the formal complaint with FNB on 18th of Oct (ref. 359495).
Seeing that nothing is happening again I wonder what I need to do to get this resolved? Change the bank?
