Relatively slow response to claim

I got an accident on my way to work on the 25th September 2013. The assessors report was completed on the 30th of September (Excellent quick response). However the claims department only authorised the panel beaters to start work on the 9th of October because they were struggling to get hold of the police to verify my statement (Fairly slow process). This meant I only had 15 days left (on a 30 day car hire) with my car rental before the panel beaters even ordered the parts for my car. From the 9th of October, the panel beaters only have 12 working days to order the parts, fix the car and have my computer box reset. The panel beaters were also complaining and called miway to ask why the authorisation was taking so long because in the past, miway only took a maximum of 4 to 6 days from assessing a car to authorising for it to be fixed. I am a supervisor at a mine and I simply cannot live without a car. I trust miway and I believe that they will come to my aid.
