On the 20th of September I was incorrectly debited for a personal loan that is only payable on the 25th of each Month! Upon phoning the call centre I was told that I was debited earlier in September because on the public holiday that we have on the 24th of September! What infuriates me is the fact that I was not informed and I only get paid on the 25th of each Month! Who gives Nedbank the right to deduct money earlier than the agreed date! The call centre agent promised that the amount will be reversed within the next hour. But guess what?! It was never credited back to my account. What would have happened it I did not have funds available to provide for this incorrect debit? I would probably have had a penalty fee charged. Upon checking why my funds are low I found that Nedbank debited me AGAIN on the 26th of September. again I was forced to contact the call centre only to be told that it will take up to 48 hours for them to correct.. This year I have had endless challenges with Nedbank and frankly I do not see why I should accept such service. I think it's time to take my business elsewhere, and cancel all my accounts with them!
